Jupiter Warriors host Palm Beach Central Friday — the district game this season has been building toward
After a 5-0 start and a tough 34-31 four-overtime loss to Santaluces, the Jupiter Warriors (5-1) are back home this Friday for the district matchup the schedule has been pointing toward since August. Palm Beach Central comes to Velocity Community Credit Union Stadium — the same team Jupiter beat for the first time in 10 years last season. Coach Josh Brooks has called it "one hundred percent a fourth-quarter game." Kickoff is 7 PM.

🌟 Community spotlight
Loggerhead Marinelife Center — Juno Beach
As king tides peak, one organization has been watching these beaches longer than most of us have lived here. Loggerhead Marinelife Center monitors an 8.5-mile stretch of beach in northern Palm Beach County — one of the most important sea turtle nesting corridors in the world — year-round. This season alone they've recorded more than 18,000 nests, including a record number of leatherback nests.
Right now, as king tides expose and damage nests in the final weeks of the season, LMC researchers are in the field assessing conditions, rescuing injured sea turtles, and tracking data that's been collected for decades. If you want to support the work or visit the facility, they're in Juno Beach just down the road.

The full moon brings the most powerful king tides of the year Oct 23–31, per the National Weather Service. Expect elevated coastal flooding, beach erosion, and high water along the Intracoastal in Jupiter, Juno Beach, and Tequesta. Low-lying streets near the water may flood. Plan accordingly and check NWS Miami at weather.gov for current conditions.
