Warriors Beat Garcia 31–7, Repeat as District Champions

Jupiter finished the job. The Warriors beat Dr. Joaquín García 31–7 in Lake Worth on Friday, October 23, the win they needed to clinch the district championship and repeat as district champions.

Garcia stayed close until halftime, according to MaxPreps, before Jupiter pulled away in the second half for its fourth win of the season by 24 points or more.

The victory moved coach Josh Brooks' team to 8–1. Jupiter has won 18 of its last 20 games dating back to last season, averaging 30.7 points over that stretch. Garcia fell to 3–6.

Back-to-back

The Warriors came into the night needing one more win. After Jupiter's 21–12 victory over Palm Beach Central on October 19, the Palm Beach Post reported that a win over Garcia would clinch the district title.

That gives Jupiter consecutive district crowns. Last season the Warriors went undefeated in the regular season and won the district, then lost in the first round of the playoffs, WPTV reported. This year's team, in Brooks' first season as head coach, now has one regular-season game left before the playoffs.
