Unlucky 13? Not at Forté Luxe: Buyers Defy Superstition on $8M Waterfront Townhome Near Jupiter

Airlines skip row 13 and plenty of hotels skip the 13th floor. At Forté Luxe, buyers didn't seem to mind the number much. Residence 13 at the waterfront community has gone under contract at its $7.995 million list price, and the sales team says it was the most sought-after home in the project.

Many buyers circled Residence 13 for a year or more, Douglas Elliman sales associate Seth Mansfield told The Palm Beach Post. A few did bring up the number. Some prospective buyers asked whether the building number could be changed, Mansfield said, while others said 13 was their favorite number.

Residence 12 follows

Residence 12 sold shortly after Residence 13. Mansfield said sales are picking up as construction nears the finish line. Completion is expected by December.
