'We Want to Grow Memories, Not Food': Fabricant Farms Is Coming to Jupiter Farms

A new community gathering spot is in the works at 16891 Jupiter Farms Rd — and the man behind it has spent two years navigating county permitting to make it happen.

Tyler Fabricant purchased the former Taylor Farmhouse Cafe site, a 1.8-acre commercial property in Jupiter Farms, and is redeveloping it from the ground up under the name Fabricant Farms. He's targeting an opening by the end of 2026.

The first phase centers on Fab Farms Cafe — a full-service restaurant with a live music stage, a covered outdoor area where families can spread out, and a food truck parked alongside the stage to supplement kitchen operations during events and busy nights. Fabricant is planning nightly live music during the week.

The menu will focus on home-style, family fare: burgers, mac and cheese, steaks, fish dishes, flatbreads, and tacos. Former Taylor Farmhouse Cafe owner Chris Taylor will serve as a kitchen liaison, bringing back some of his previous recipes and helping train the kitchen staff — a detail that may bring a familiar feel to regulars of the old spot.

Beyond the cafe, Fabricant has a larger vision for the property: a coffee shop, a small market, an ice cream shop, and possibly an arcade — all operated in-house — planned for a second phase targeting sometime next year.

"We want to make it a place where the community can gather, where people will just come and enjoy the place," Fabricant said. His stated mission sums it up simply: "Fabricant Farms — we want to grow memories, not food."

Construction began in March and has included a new deck, expanded bathrooms, parking improvements, well work, and a full septic system replacement. Fabricant plans to open for dinner five to six nights a week to start — Wednesday through Sunday, with Tuesday to follow — and eventually expand into Sunday brunch, then lunch and breakfast service over time. Exact hours will be announced closer to opening.
