Major Athletic Field and Irrigation Renovations Underway at Jupiter Community Park

JUPITER, FL — The Town of Jupiter has launched a massive infrastructure upgrade at Jupiter Community Park as part of its ongoing 5-year Community Investment Program.

The project focuses on fields seven and eight, targeting the reconstruction of approximately 160,000 square feet of natural grass playing surfaces. Crews are actively removing old turf grass to replace it with fresh, high-durability TifTuf Bermuda grass sod.

New sand and rootzone materials are also being placed to ensure proper field drainage and athletic safety. In addition to the surface level work, the park's foundational infrastructure is getting an overhaul.

Upgrades include a total replacement of the irrigation pump system for all multipurpose fields, alongside brand-new irrigation piping, laterals, and integrated field components.

Town officials note that these upgrades are essential to maintain the local standard of park services. This phased modernization initiative will expand to include similar field overhauls at Lighthouse Park and Jupiter Village Park over the next five years.
