Jupiter’s Exquisite Dance Takes the Stage at Duncan Theatre

A little piece of Jupiter was onstage in Lake Worth Saturday night.

Dancers from Exquisite Dance performed salsa, bachata, and tango at A Night Together, a September 26 show at Palm Beach State College’s Duncan Theatre. The evening brought together music, dance, and comedy, with Exquisite among a lineup of performers from across the area.

For the Jupiter group, the appearance was a chance to share three distinct partner dances with a wider audience. Salsa brought lively rhythms, bachata a different kind of closeness, and tango its own sense of drama and connection.

That connection carries beyond the stage. Exquisite Dance has a studio on Maplewood Drive in Jupiter, where its schedule includes salsa and bachata, Argentine tango, and regular social dance gatherings.

Saturday’s performance offered a glimpse of a dance community that people can also join close to home.
