Jupiter Resident Christian Pulisic Prepares to Lead USMNT in 2026 World Cup on Home Soil

As the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaches, Jupiter can claim a special connection to one of soccer's biggest stages: USMNT captain Christian Pulisic calls our town home.

The 27-year-old midfielder, widely known as "Captain America," purchased a $1.8 million home in a gated Jupiter community in 2020. The luxury property features four bedrooms, a swimming pool, a putting green, and a boat dock—a fitting retreat for one of America's most accomplished soccer players.

With the World Cup set to kick off on June 12 in Inglewood, California, Pulisic will lead the United States men's national team in front of home crowds for the first time in a generation. The tournament, co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, represents a historic opportunity for American soccer.

World Cup Schedule

The USMNT faces a challenging Group D schedule:

  • June 12, 9:00 PM ET: USA vs Paraguay - SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, CA
  • June 19, 3:00 PM ET: USA vs Australia - Lumen Field, Seattle, WA
  • June 25, 10:00 PM ET: Turkey vs USA - SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, CA

Breaking Through a Scoring Drought

Pulisic enters the tournament looking to rediscover his scoring touch. The AC Milan winger hasn't found the net for club or country in 2026, with his last international goal coming in November 2024 against Jamaica. Despite the drought, Pulisic remains confident.

"I'm not concerned about it, man," Pulisic told Time magazine in a recent interview. "I plan on scoring goals. You have to have that kind of delusional confidence."

From Hershey to Jupiter

While Pulisic hails from Hershey, Pennsylvania—a town he describes as "just so close to my heart"—South Florida has become his American base. In addition to his Jupiter residence, he purchased a $3 million home in nearby Wellington in 2021.

The Jupiter property offers the perfect balance of privacy and waterfront lifestyle that has attracted numerous professional athletes to our community. With an estimated net worth of $40 million, Pulisic has established himself not just as America's premier soccer talent, but as a savvy real estate investor in Palm Beach County.

A Historic Moment for American Soccer

Pulisic's journey from Pennsylvania youth leagues to European stardom and now to World Cup captain embodies the growth of American soccer. With 84 caps and 32 international goals, he's already the most influential American men's soccer player in history.

The USMNT will play two final tuneup matches before the tournament begins: against Senegal on May 31 and Germany on June 6 in Chicago. Head coach Mauricio Pochettino is expected to announce the final World Cup roster on May 26.

As Jupiter residents tune in to watch the World Cup this summer, they can take pride knowing that one of the tournament's key players calls our town home. Whether Pulisic is training at his Jupiter residence or competing on soccer's biggest stage, he represents the global reach and athletic excellence that defines our community.
