Jupiter Police Investigating After Body Found Near Pennock Lane
JUPITER, Fla. — The Jupiter Police Department is conducting an active investigation following the discovery of a body on Friday in the area of Pennock Lane.
According to public information officer Shawn Reed, the deceased individual was found on the 900 block of Seneca Street, located north of Indian Creek Parkway. Authorities were called to the scene on April 24, 2026.
Reed confirmed to WPTV that the discovery remains an active investigation. Officials have not yet released any details regarding the identity of the deceased, the cause of death, or any potential circumstances leading up to the discovery.
"The town said the discovery of the deceased individual on the 900 block of Seneca Street remains an active investigation," Reed stated. "No additional information is available at this time."
Police have cordoned off the area as investigators process the scene. Residents in the vicinity of Pennock Lane and Seneca Street may see an increased police presence while the investigation continues.
