JUPITER, FL – March 5, 2026 – Jupiter Medical Center (JMC) has solidified its reputation for excellence by being named to Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals 2026 list. The annual rankings, developed in partnership with global data firm Statista, identify the leading medical institutions across 32 countries based on a rigorous methodology of clinical quality and patient feedback.
The selection process for the 2026 list was based on four critical pillars:
Medical Expert Recommendations: A global survey of tens of thousands of doctors, healthcare professionals, and hospital managers.
Patient Survey Results: Comprehensive data regarding patient satisfaction during hospitalization.
Hospital Quality Metrics: Performance data on hygiene measures, patient safety, and quality of care for specific treatments.
PROMs Implementation: A survey assessing the use of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures to track how patients function after receiving care.
“Being named to Newsweek's World's Best Hospitals list is a powerful affirmation of the excellence, compassion, and sense of purpose that define Jupiter Medical Center,” said Amit Rastogi, MD, MHCM, President and CEO of Jupiter Medical Center. “This recognition reflects our extraordinary care teams' dedication to advancing world-class medicine and delivering highly personalized, patient-centered care.”
Currently rated as the No. 1 hospital system in Palm Beach and Martin counties for quality and safety, Jupiter Medical Center continues to expand its footprint and capabilities. The hospital recently celebrated the opening of the Tim and Jayne Donahue Patient Care Tower, a five-story, 92-bed facility featuring specialized units for oncology, cardiac care, orthopedics, and rehabilitation.
This latest accolade joins a growing list of honors for the institution, which also include a 4-star rating from Forbes and consistent "A" Safety Grades from The Leapfrog Group. As the region’s only independent, not-for-profit health system, Jupiter Medical Center remains committed to providing state-of-the-art technology and multidisciplinary expertise to the South Florida community.
