Jupiter Medical Center Earns Five 'High Performing' Distinctions from U.S. News & World Report

Jupiter Medical Center has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a "High Performing" hospital in five procedures and conditions in the 2026–2027 Best Hospitals rankings: Hip Replacement, Knee Replacement, Lung Cancer Surgery, Kidney Failure, and Diabetes and COPD.

U.S. News evaluated nearly 4,500 hospitals across 37 areas of care. Less than half earned recognition in any category. JMC's five designations — spanning orthopedic surgery, oncology, and chronic disease management — place it among a select group of hospitals that exceed the national average in patient outcomes for those specific procedures.

The ratings are based on objective measures including risk-adjusted mortality rates, preventable complications, and patient experience, drawn from more than 800 million patient care records. Of the nearly 4,500 hospitals evaluated, fewer than half earned a High Performing designation in any category.
