Guisinger and Delaney Sworn In, Begin New Terms on Jupiter Town Council

JUPITER, FL – The Town of Jupiter’s leadership team is set for the coming years as Councilors Dan Guisinger and Ron Delaney officially took the oath of office last night, marking the beginning of new three-year terms on the town council. According to the town's official election page, Guisinger and Delaney were the only candidates to qualify for the Town Council election originally scheduled for March 2026 . As a result, there will be no municipal election in March, and the next town election is now slated for 2028 . For Councilor Dan Guisinger, this new term represents a significant vote of confidence from the community. Guisinger first joined the council in May 2025, when he was unanimously appointed to fill a vacant seat . At the time, the longtime Jupiter resident of 30 years and retired aerospace engineer was appointed from a pool of 18 applicants, tasked with serving the remainder of a term expiring this month . Now representing the First District, he begins his first full three-year term . For Councilor Ron Delaney, last night’s swearing-in adds to a long history of public service. Delaney, who holds the Second District seat, was first elected to the council in 2016 and has been re-elected consistently in 2019 and 2022 . With this new term, he continues his long-standing tenure advocating for Jupiter residents. Their leadership comes at a pivotal time as the council guides important decisions, supports community priorities, and helps shape the future of Jupiter. We look forward to their continued service and dedication to our community.
