Every Tuesday in August, the Jupiter Inlet Hosts a Sound Bath You Probably Haven't Heard Of
If your Tuesday nights need something better than doom-scrolling, Wildbluesea has a standing offer at one of the most beautiful spots in Jupiter.
The Blue Mind Reset is a Tuesday evening series running every week in August at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area — a BLM-permitted program that blends ecology, mindfulness, and community in a setting that sells itself.
Each session runs the same calming format: Linda Emerson opens with a short ecotalk on "blue mind" — the science behind why proximity to water makes us calmer, more creative, and more connected. Courtney leads a guided meditation, and then either Damiann (Aug 4 and 11) or Marnie (Aug 18 and 25) closes with a dreamy sound bath. The evening ends with herbal iced tea, sharing water stories, and the sounds of the inlet at dusk.
The concept behind blue mind — developed by marine biologist Wallace J. Nichols — holds that being near, in, on, or underwater triggers a mild meditative state. Jupiter, surrounded by the Loxahatchee River, the Intracoastal, the Inlet, and the Atlantic, is a natural fit for a program built around it.
Attendance is capped at 20 people per session, so it stays intimate. Tickets are $16 for August (a reduced "encore" price) and are available in advance at zeffy.com — cash or card accepted at the gate. Arrive 15 minutes early to check in at the main double gate in the chain-link fence at the main parking lot. Bring a blanket, yoga mat, or low-backed beach chair.
Sessions are cancelled during inclement weather with notification posted to the event page.
