Coral Cove Park
Snorkeling & Rocky ReefCoral Cove sits just north of the Jupiter Inlet in Tequesta, offering one of the best snorkeling spots in Palm Beach County. A natural limestone rock formation just offshore creates a shallow reef teeming with tropical fish, sea turtles, and occasionally manatees. The beach itself is narrower than Carlin Park but far less crowded, with a raw, natural feel that regulars love.

Juno Beach
Sea Turtle Capital of the WorldJust south of Jupiter, Juno Beach boasts one of the highest concentrations of sea turtle nesting in the world — the Loggerhead Marinelife Center here is one of the top marine conservation facilities in Florida. The beach is wide, uncrowded, and well-maintained with easy parking. Join a free turtle walk in nesting season (May–October) for an unforgettable experience.

Hobe Sound NWR Beach
Wildest Beach in Southeast FloridaThe Nathaniel P. Reed Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge protects the largest contiguous section of undeveloped beach in Southeastern Florida — 3.5 wild, unimproved miles of Atlantic shoreline on Jupiter Island with zero development, no lifeguards, and no crowds. One of the most productive sea turtle nesting beaches in the entire Southeast. The mainland section along US 1 adds nearly 10 miles of Indian River Lagoon mangrove shoreline and excellent trails through rare Florida sand pine scrub habitat, with a visitor center featuring live reptiles, amphibians, and insects. This is the real, raw Florida that most people never find.

Current Conditions
Local Beach Tips
🐢 Sea Turtle Season
May through October is nesting season. All Jupiter area beaches participate in nest monitoring. Don't disturb marked nests, turn off beach lights at night, and fill in any holes before you leave. Night walks guided by Loggerhead Marinelife Center are free and incredible.
🚩 Rip Current Safety
Jupiter's beaches are generally calm, but rip currents form near the inlet and after storms. Always swim near a lifeguard stand. If caught in a rip current, swim parallel to shore rather than against the current. Check NOAA surf forecast before heading out.
🌊 Best Swimming Conditions
The calmest ocean swimming is typically in May–June and October–November. Summer brings warmer water (mid-80s°F) and afternoon thunderstorms — always clear the beach when you hear thunder. Water temperature rarely drops below 70°F even in winter.
🐠 Marine Life
Jupiter waters are rich with wildlife year-round: dolphins are spotted daily near the inlet, manatees frequent the Intracoastal in winter, sea turtles nest May–Oct, and the Jupiter Reef System (offshore) offers world-class diving with nurse sharks, goliath grouper, and tropical fish.
🅿️ Parking Tips
Carlin Park and DuBois Park offer free parking. Coral Cove has a small fee. Arrive before 9am on weekends to guarantee a spot during peak season (Nov–April). Locals know to use Marcinski Road or the northern beach access points to avoid the crowds at Carlin.
📸 Best Sunrise & Sunset Spots
Sunrise: Any east-facing beach access point, with Marcinski Rd or Carlin Park's northern end being fan favorites. Sunset: DuBois Park on the inlet or Guanabanas restaurant on the Loxahatchee River offer stunning westward views. The lighthouse silhouetted at dusk is iconic.
