Palm Beaches Student Showcase of Films Awards Ceremony Returns May 1
Lights, camera, celebration—Florida’s next generation of filmmakers will take center stage on May 1 at the 31st Annual Palm Beaches Student Showcase of Films awards ceremony.
Held at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, the event will spotlight the best student work from across the state following a record-breaking year of submissions.
The morning kicks off with a red carpet experience at 9:30 a.m., giving students, families, and attendees a chance to celebrate in true Hollywood style. The awards ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m., where finalists and winners will be announced across categories including film, animation, documentary, music video, and screenwriting.
This year’s showcase embraces a “Set-Jetting” theme, highlighting the role of location in storytelling and how places can shape narrative and character.
The event brings together students, educators, and industry professionals for a high-energy celebration of creativity, talent, and storytelling. For many participants, it’s not just an awards show—it’s a launching pad into future careers in film and media.
Community members are invited to attend and support Florida’s emerging filmmakers at one of the region’s most anticipated student arts events.
