16th Annual SFA Juno Beach Surf Festival

A surf festival hosted by Surfers for Autism where kids and young adults with autism and other special needs get a chance to surf with the help of dedicated volunteers and watermen. The event includes participant and volunteer check-in starting at 8:00 AM, a volunteer meeting, and surfing from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Participants are divided into color groups and called to surf when their color flag is raised.[citation:9]
