Jupiter Has 40+ Major Projects Underway — Here's What's Being Built Around Town

If you've noticed construction equipment popping up across Jupiter lately, there's a reason. The Town of Jupiter's current major projects list includes more than 40 active development applications — ranging from small commercial renovations to large mixed-use developments that will reshape key corridors. Here's a plain-English rundown of what's most relevant to residents.

Two New Jupiter Fire Rescue Stations — Under Construction Jupiter's new standalone Fire Rescue Department is taking physical shape. Two new two-story fire stations are currently under construction: the Cinquez Station at 2197 W. Indiantown Road and the Piatt Station at 500 US Highway 1. Both represent a major infrastructure shift for the town, which recently separated from Palm Beach County Fire Rescue to establish its own department.

Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium — Under Construction A site plan amendment for renovations and expansions to Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium at 4355 Stadium Drive has been approved and construction is underway. The 90-acre facility is home to the Palm Beach Cardinals and Jupiter Hammerheads.

Sims Creek Preserve — Under Construction A new passive park with a kayak launch is under construction on the southeast corner of Center Street and Thelma Avenue, near Indiantown Road. The 2.8-acre site will offer public green space and non-motorized water access — a welcome addition to the area.

Casa Tequila — Under Construction A new 5,000 square foot restaurant with outdoor seating is going up at the northeast corner of West Indiantown Road and Caprice Court. Construction is underway on the 2.24-acre property.

Fisherman's Wharf + Flagler's Wharf — Approved Two waterfront projects on North Alternate A1A have been approved. Fisherman's Wharf will bring a three-story office building with underground parking, a two-story restaurant, outdoor dining, a tiki bar, and a private dock on 4.6 acres. Flagler's Wharf, at 401 N. Alternate A1A, adds a 12-slip private marina, a two-story building with a restaurant on the ground floor and professional office above.

Harbourside Expansion — Under Review A significant expansion is proposed at Harbourside Place (200 N. US Highway 1) — a four-story, 56,623 square foot building for retail, office, and medical office use, plus a two-level parking structure on the 10-acre site. A rezoning and PUD amendment are also under review to incorporate two additional parcels into the existing development. This one will draw attention as it moves through the approval process.

River Plaza — Under Review At 900 S US Highway 1, a proposal is under review for a four-story residential building with 38 dwelling units, an underground parking garage, and a Future Land Use Map amendment from Commercial to Mixed Use. If approved, it would add a meaningful residential component to the South US-1 corridor.

Sperry Property (fka Suni-Sands) — On Hold, Settlement Reached The long-running Suni-Sands saga at 961–997 North A1A reached a significant milestone in January 2026. A mediation settlement agreement between the property owners and the Town was approved, deeding 4.07 acres of the historic shell midden to Jupiter for preservation, preserving the Celestial Railway right-of-way, and including a Town purchase of 1.4 acres as a view corridor for $10.5 million. The remaining development — which proposes 67 residential condominiums, 5 townhouses, a 125-room hotel, a restaurant, and commercial retail — remains on hold pending revised applications.
